Indy Impact is a Direct-Action political grassroots GLBT organization that was formed in response to the passing of California’s Proposition 8 ballot measure on November 4th, 2008, and the possible impact to the rest of the nation when we start allowing rights to be taken away after being deemed constitutional. We are everyday people. We are the sales associate at your local department store. We are the biochemist who help discover new pharmaceuticals. We are people who take care of you when you are sick. We are lawyers. We are single parents. We are artists. We are students in high school and college. We are PEOPLE who want EQUAL RIGHTS FOR EQUAL PEOPLE. |
